Lisa Frazier, Vice Chair
Lisa Leger Frazier was elected as a Commissioner for the Sebastian Inlet District, Seat 5, Brevard County, in November of 2018 and re-elected in 2022.
Lisa holds a Master of Science in Environmental Planning from Florida Institute of Technology in Melbourne and a Bachelor of Science degree from Central Michigan University. She is a planner/project manager with 30 years of experience in the public and private sectors including construction, planning, local government and environmental planning. She is presently employed as the Community Development Director for the City of Sebastian.
As a resident of Brevard County for 30 years, Lisa is dedicated to representing the interests of both Brevard and Indian River County, and will leverage her technical and professional expertise in her service as a Commissioner for the Sebastian Inlet District.
Lisa’s professional credentials include certifications from the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP), Project Management Institute (PMI) and past membership on Planning Commissions in Michigan and Florida. She is the immediate Past-Chair and current Treasurer for the Atlantic Coast Section of the American Planning Association. From 1994 to 2000, she was an elected member of the Indialantic Town Council, and from November 1998 to April 2000 served as Deputy Mayor.
