2023 Economic Analysis Report: Sebastian Inlet's annual impact to the region is $1.1 billion
Sebastian Inlet generates $1.1 billion annually to the regional economy, according to a new study completed by the Balmoral Group, an economic consulting firm based in Winter Park.
The study reveals that Sebastian Inlet supports $536 million in value added impacts and 9,000 jobs throughout Brevard and Indian River Counties. In addition, the Sebastian inlet supports $6.5 Million in property value impacts annually.
The Balmoral Group also estimated the total annual economic benefit (spending by recreational boaters and tourists, proximity effects of the Sebastian Inlet on real estate, spending by specialized sectors, and seagrasses) of $1.1 Billion.
