T J Marshall
TJ Marshall has been a Florida resident since 1981. After serving as an ocean rescue lifeguard in the early 1990s, TJ became an avid coastal and fisheries advocate, fisherman, optical oceanography enthusiast, diver and surfer.
In 2008, after assisting on numerous advocacy projects with the Surfrider Foundation, Natural Resources Defense Council and the Florida Coastal and Oceans Coalition (a group of environmental non-profits focused on Florida coastal ecosystems), TJ settled in Brevard County. He was also an advocate for the passage of the Florida Clean Ocean Act, Section 376.25, which directed the Florida Department of Environmental Protection to implement a registration program to regulate releases of wastes from gambling vessels.
He has been a resident of Indialantic since 2012.
