Week of April 12: Big Reds
Today’s forecast is for clouds and a slight chance of showers. The high will be around 82, but by this evening it will be clear and cool. We will see NW winds early today at 5-10 miles per hour moving to the N in the afternoon. The marine forecast calls for 3- to 5-foot seas and a moderate chop on the intracoastal.
Tommy from the Sebastian Inlet Bait & Tackle shop reports fair fishing over the last week, except for yesterday when a huge storm blew through for most of the day. Anglers were pulling in a lot of snook, Spanish mackerel, jacks and blues, sheepshead, and some Cubera snapper. Today, there are more snook and some big reds coming over the rails.
